February 12th Sunday TOP OF THE WORLD
This is an expert ride only
We will be leaving out of Buzzard Creek and going out to a mountain that we climbed two years ago, and it would be considered an extreme ( higher then an A) ride depending on the conditions. Also this is an extreme avalanche area.
February 19th, Sunday Bonham Ride originally scheduled on January 8. Depart at 9:30
February 25th Saturday Andy Kelly Ride: Glenwood Springs Overnight
We plan to meet at the Buzzard Creek trail head at 9:00am. We will ride to Sunlight Ski area where we will leave our sleds overnight and can buy fuel. Then shuttle to Glenwood Springs where we will spend the night at the Hot Springs Lodge 800-537-7946, have dinner and take a dip in the Hot Springs Pool. Room Rates are $129 (last years pricing) for a deluxe room with 2 queen beds. We have to have lodging plans firm by Feb. 1st. Andy has arranged a catered dinner for the group at the community center for all that want to (cost has not yet been determined) we are looking for people that want to drive around and meet our group at Sunlight. March 10th Saturday Bonham Ride Departing at 9:30 am we will head out on a cross country ride over the Mesa,
March 18th Saturday Flat Tops West Elk Trail Head. West Elk trail head 9:30 departure. For those
of you who need gas for more than 60 miles of riding you should bring some.
Bring your own lunch for a cookout.
March 24th Saturday PARTNERS RIDE. Club members will take Partner Kids on a ride on the Mesa and have a cook-out lunch. More info to come..
