ARE YOU READY TO HELP US WITH THE PARADE OF LIGHTS FLOAT? I HOPE SO. WE NEED EVERYONE.....U & U & U
PARADE INFORMATION:
- DECEMBER 3RD - STARTS AT 5 PM
- FLOAT CHECK-IN: 3 - 3:30 PM AT 9TH & MAIN
- LINE-UP: FLOAT # 110 MEET AT COLORADO JUST WEST OF 12TH STREET (WE WILL BE CLOSE TO SANTA CLAUSE) HOHOHo
- FLOAT DECORATION:
- 2521 WESLO (AREA SOUTH OF B & H SPORTS ON PATTERSON). WHITE METAL BUILDING IN THE CORNER OF THE TURN.)
- Time: 6:00 pm to ??????
- Bring your own beverage or snack. (Club will probably be ordering pizza to be delivered.)
WE NEED ITEMS: LOOK AT THE LIST BELOW, YOUR HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED...
- 2 SADDLES : (PROVIDED BY BEN DORENKAMP)
- NEED: 2 SADDLES: AS BACK UP WHICH WE MIGHT USE
- NEED REINS FOR HORSES, ROPES, BUCKETS METAL FOR CANDY, ETC.
- NEED 4 BALES OF STRAW - 2-3 WILL BE USED TO COVER THE FLOOR OF THE FLOAT
- 2 SLEDS (PROVIDED BY MARTY & ARNIE)
- NEED 2 TIE POSTS/FENCE - TYPE YOU WOULD TIE A HORSE TO IN FRONT OF AT SALOON
- 2 SWINGING DOORS - PROVIDED BY HERB
- CHAIRS - PROVIDED BY BRUCE, ARNIE & HERB
- NEED LIGHTS - ANY AND ALL EXTRA LIGHTS YOU HAVE ( ROPE, NET, ETC) put your name tag on them.
- NEED Extention cords: any extra will help. put your name on them so you get them back
- NEED Holsters, kids, adults, western gear, chaps, hats, boots. Wester stuff
- NEED Old lanters, Large bar mirror etc. something that you would see hanging on the wall of a western saloon
- NEED WOOD for two small walls
- BAR - (Provided by Stan)
- NEED playing cards
- NEED poker chips
- bar stools (provided marty)
- NEED OLD style blender
- NEED old fashion beer mugs
- generator - SOME ONE HAS THIS
- candy (DALE is purchasing FOR CLUB)
- NEED metal buckets (like what you would put oats in to feed your horse). We can use these to put candy in and hand out at the parade. This will look more western than paper gift bags.
- NEED Boom box for western music
- NEED western music
- NEED some bags of peanuts & popcorn for us to eat on the float
- NEED Any other ideas you have. IT'S NOT DONE TILL IT'S DONE
DRIVERS AND VOLUNTEERS WILL BE GETTING FLOAT DOWNTOWN EARLY. ANY MUNCHIES OR SNACKS FOR KIDS AND ADULTS WHILE WE ARE WAITING TO TRAVEL DOWN MAIN STREET WILL APPRECIATED. IT WILL TAKE AWHILE BEFORE WE WILL BE MOVING OUR FLOAT.
DON'T FOR GET THE POT LUCK AT MARTY & STEPHANIES HOME AFTER THE PARADE.
ITEMS MAY BE BROUGHT TO DECORATING ON THURSDAY OR DROPPED OFF AT ANDY KELLEYS SHOP OR DALE HOLLINGSHEAD HOME IF NEEDED.
RAFFLE TICKETS NEED TO BE RETURNED BY MONDAY SO WE CAN GATHER THEM ALL UP AND SEND THEM BACK TO CSA. THANKS TO ALL WHO SOLD THEM.

Join us on Saturday, December 3rd for the PARADE OF LIGHTS. We need everyone to participate.Please volunteer to walk in the parade and hand out candy to children & adults.
Staging Time: 3-3:30 pm (float will be taken to downtown and checked in)
Staging Location: Colorado Avenue West of 12 Street
Location in Parade: #110 (close to Santa Clause)
Parade starts at 5:00 pm. Please join us for this festive occasion.
AFTER PARADE ANNUAL PARTY POT LUCK
Come gather with us for a Pot-Luck Bon Fire dinner at Marty & Stephanie Colemans home located at 620 W. Orchard (Back behind Sam's Club area) The club will provide chili and roast beef sandwiches and pop/water. Welcome to bring your favorite beverage. We ask that everyone bring a side dish to share such as, appetizer, dessert, salad, etc. to share.
